TACKLE TWILL

What is Tackle Twill?

Tackle Twill or Applique, involves sewing down a number or letter made by laser cutting one material and applying them to another material.   Tackle Twill is the most popular for both professional, college and high school teams as well as fan gear.

What makes our Tackle Twill Different?

When using more than one color, we separately sew down each layer of twill.  Many companies use a tacking substance to attach one layer to another and simply sew down the bottom layer.  With high heat and humidity, the twill can either fall off or “bubble”.  By sewing down each layer, you have high quality customization that is equivalent to the pros.

What is Sublimated Tackle Twill?

This is an alternative to have 2-3 layers of twill on a jersey, which can feel heavy.  You can make incredible designs or have even 3 color team names and numbers on one layer of twill.  This helps your jerseys feel light and enables you to give some flair to your design without the cost.  Sublimated twill vs. sublimating an entire jersey may be a better option on a mesh jersey if you are looking for rich colors.
